ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Summer Student- Full Time (May-August)
The FORT FRANCES office of the NORTHWEST COMMUNITY LEGAL CLINIC, a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario, is seeking a college or university student to assume the full-time position of receptionist/administrative assistant for May-August.
We are:
A community legal clinic with offices in Kenora, Fort Frances and Atikokan. The NCLC provides access to justice to vulnerable members of our community through legal services in the areas of Tenant Rights, Social Assistance, Canada Pension Plan Disability, Employment Insurance, and Consumer Law.
As the successful candidate, you will be self-directed and able to work independently, while also contributing as an integral part of our team. You will primarily support staff with administrative functions such as digitizing clinic records and some reception duties including answering phones, greeting clients, and accurately entering information into our client management system.
Position requires:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; hands-on experience is preferred
- Previous receptionist experience (phone and in-person) is considered an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be available to work on-site at our clinic, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Renumeration:
$25-$30/hour based on experience and qualifications
